CommunionAt Messiah Lutheran Church, we celebrate communion at nearly every worship service and all are welcome to participate. In addition to traditional bread and wine, we also offer the option of grace juice and/or gluten free wafers. All are welcome, no matter where you are in your faith journey.
If you'd like to know more about the theology of communion, please visit the E.L.C.A.'s website on Holy Communion. |
Children & WorshipOur staff adult workers and teenage volunteers will lovingly care for your children while you worship or attend meetings. Childcare is available at most events. Children are more than welcome to attend worship. During the Children's Message, children are welcome to come forward to hear an age-appropriate version of the day's message. Be sure to ask an usher on your way in for a children's activity bag! During the school year, children in preschool through fifth grade attend Sunday School during the 10:30 worship service.
